RAINBOW STAGE SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH $750 EACH

Rainbow Stage annually awards Manitoba resident Grade 12 high school students for excellence in musical theatre performance, technical/production work, and musicianship, in support of their post-secondary training endeavours. Applicants will submit a YouTube video (no longer than 5 minutes in length) for the Education Committee before the deadline in order to be eligible. Winners are then selected, notified at which time they will receive their Student Scholarship certificate and cash award.

 

Grade 12 high school students may apply under any number of the following categories:

 

PERFORMANCE

* Open to Singers, Dancers and/or Actors

 

TECHNICAL/PRODUCTION

* Set, Lighting, Sound, Wardrobe, Hair, and Makeup Designers* Prop building, Carpentry, Scenic Painting* Production, Stage Management* Student Direction/Choreography

 

MUSICIAN

* Instrumentalists, Composers, Lyricists

CAMBRIAN CREDIT UNION - LEARNING FOR LIFE SCHOLARSHIP

CAMBRIAN CREDIT UNION – Learning for Life Scholarship

Cambrian Credit Union is pleased to offer the Learning for Life Award for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Each year, Cambrian awards scholarships to select students through the Learning for Life Award to support continued education in the community. This year the award will be open to students pursuing post-secondary education in the fall 2022.

This year, Cambrian will be providing five awards valued at $2,500 each to support students who are pursuing post-secondary education in the fall and exemplify leadership in one of the following five areas:

  • Arts & Culture
    • Promotes and supports cultural diversity in Manitoba by helping to create vibrant, dynamic communities through arts programs and initiatives.
  • Community Care
    • Helping to improve their community through programs and initiatives that improve the lives of others and volunteer efforts.
  • Education
    • Helping to bring awareness and understanding to various financial literacy programs by promoting and supporting an inclusive learning environment for their peers and community.
  • Health & Wellness
    • Making a difference in the lives of others through health focused programs and initiatives.
  • Member Award
    • A member at Cambrian Credit Union and helping to make a difference within their school and community.

Recipients will be selected by a panel of Cambrian employees.

THE KEITH COOPER SCHOLARSHIP


The Keith Cooper Scholarship is now available!
Have you applied for the Keith Cooper Scholarship? If you've been in Child and Family Services care for at least one year and are in your first post-secondary program, you're eligible!
This scholarship provides up to $1,000 toward Post-Secondary School for students who are
  • currently or have previously been in in the care of a Manitoba Child and Family Services (CFS) agency for at least one year
  • applied to or are currently enrolled in their first certificate, diploma or degree program at a recognized post-secondary institution in Manitoba for the 2022-2023 year
  • able to meet the institution's entry/renewal requirements

To apply,
  1. Complete the Keith Cooper Scholarship application form available at Voices Manitoba  or Futures Forward   
  2. Include a copy of your most current high school (and if applicable) post-secondary transcripts
  3. Include one reference letter
  4. Include your letter of acceptance or proof of application/enrollment
  5. Email your application to Samantha Olea at solea@yesmb.ca
