Quest for Excellence Scholarship Program

The Quest for Excellence scholarship program is a cash scholarship that recognizes students for their ongoing community contributions and pursuit of leadership.

About the Award:

RE/MAX Canada is pleased to expand the existing Quest for Excellence scholarship program in 2023, now offering 40 scholarships of $1,000 each to students across Canada (except for Quebec).

How to Enter:

To apply for the Quest for Excellence scholarship, eligible students are invited to write and submit an online essay* up to 1,250 words in length, answering one of the following questions:

  1. What does a “bright future” look like for you?
  2. How have you demonstrated leadership or charity within your community to make it a better place?
  3. How can we ensure fair and affordable housing for all Canadians?

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify, participants must be a Grade 12 student attending high school in the 2022/2023 academic year, who have not previously participated in graduation commencement ceremonies in the past.

One entry per person.

RE/MAX Canada will review the essay submissions and award 40 scholarships, of $1,000 each, to qualifying Grade 12 students.

*All essay entries become the property of RE/MAX Canada. Photos and names of winners may be published in print or in digital formats and shared with media. Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.

Université de Saint-Boniface - Scholarship Opportunity

An additional $3,000!

In addition to an entrance scholarship, students who speak French as a second (or third) language can also receive one of 75 scholarships of $3,000! Which could practically cover the first year of study!

NELLIE McCLUNG TRAILBLAZER SCHOLARSHIPS

The Nellie McClung Trailblazer Scholarships are open self-identified female students who are enrolled in Grade 12 in a public or private secondary educational institution in Manitoba and are Manitoba Residents*.

* For the purposes of the Grade 12 award category, a Manitoba Resident shall be defined as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada who, at the application deadline, meets the following description:
– has resided continuously in Manitoba for any two-year period while attending a Manitoba high school



  • Five awards of $1,000.00 will be granted. 


The following criteria will be considered in selecting award recipients:

  • academic standing

  • demonstration of leadership in school and community activities

  • demonstration of an interest and aptitude in a future career in STEAM, business or underrepresented trades

  • representation of the diversity of Manitoba’s population

  • regional and program representation

The All Seniors Care Scholarship

All Seniors Care is proud of those dedicated individuals who want to give back to the community by volunteering to engage with seniors across Canada in one of our beautiful residences. The purpose is to provide financial assistance to our regular student volunteers who donate their time, talents and skills to the All Seniors Care Living Centres communities, while enrolled in school.  

Eligibility:
1. Must be a student in high school, college, or university
2. Volunteer at least 2 hours a week for a year (at least 1 dedicated program a week)

Scholarship Amounts:
– 2 hours of Volunteer Work: Receive a $1000 scholarship to your university or college
– 4 hours of Volunteer Work: Receive a $2000 scholarship to your university or college
– 6 hours of Volunteer Work: Receive a $3000 scholarship to your university or college

To Apply:
1. Complete our Online Volunteer Form.
2. In the “Current Opportunities” section of the form, select an activity you will run weekly for a year.
3. Be sure to check-off that you are applying for the Scholarship.

Lionel High School Chemistry Scholarships

Scholarship Value: $16,000

Awards Available: 2
Award Deadline: Mar 1, 2023



To be eligible for this Scholarship, the high school student must:

A) Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;

B) Have shown an interest in chemistry related studies;

C) Plan to enroll in a BSc program in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering at a Canadian university, a pre-university 2-year program, or diploma program at a college or Cégep, within the year of graduation from high school;

D) Demonstrate need for financial assistance;

E) Maintain a B (75%) average minimum throughout their program of study; and

F) Provide annual proof that they are continuing in the program.

Ted Rogers Scholarship Fund For Indigenous Students

The Ted Rogers Scholarship through Indspire is for Canadian Indigenous students entering their first year of a post-secondary program in the fall of 2023.  It is a renewable award of $2,500 per year for students enrolled in a minimum two-year post-secondary program to a maximum of four years.  While enrolled in post-secondary students must maintain a full-time course load to receive the renewed support each year. Students who attended post-secondary previous to the fall 2023 are not eligible.

Deadline to apply is March 1, 2023.

CMU SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

At CMU, February is all about scholarships. Our scholarship application is now open and is running until February 28. Students can apply through their application portal. Please note: they must have conditional or final admission to CMU to be eligible.
