Loran Scholars Foundation is now accepting applications from university-bound students for the 2025 Loran Award
The Loran Award, Canada's largest and most comprehensive undergraduate award is accepting applications starting today until Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024.
Loran looks beyond grades to find those who demonstrate strength of character, a deep commitment to service, and exceptional leadership potential.
Following a rigorous selection process, up to 36 students will be selected to become Loran Scholars. The program includes:
● Funding to study at any of our 25 partner universities with an annual $12K living stipend and up to $12K in tuition waiver, per year
● Diverse opportunities for experiential learning and leadership development
● One-on-one mentorship program with a business or community leader
● Up to $14K in funding for summer work experiences
● Membership in a life-long community of values-driven individuals working toward a better country and world
To be eligible for the Loran Award, a student must:
● Be graduating from high school in 2025.
● Present a minimum cumulative average of 85%
● Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status
● Born between January 1, 2003 & September 1, 2009
