SCOTIABANK X myBLUEPRINT 2025 SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: May 7th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: 16 X $3,750 CRITERIA:    DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must self-identify under one or more of the equity-deserving groups in the questions listed in the application   

FINANCIAL WELLNESS SCHOLARSHIP:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

FUTURE WOMEN LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must self-identify as 'woman', 'non-binary' or 'gender non-conforming'.   

STEM SCHOLARSHIP:

SHANNEN'S DREAM SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: April 30th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: 2 x $10,000 and 2 x $5,500

CRITERIA: The scholarship is open to First Nations youth who meet the following eligibility criteria:         

  • Open to First Nations youth 30 years old and under.
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (university, college or trade school) at a Canadian institution and returning for the Fall 2025 semester. 
  • Consideration criteria: 1) the recipient contributes to their First Nations community (urban or rural) and, 2) demonstrates academic or extra-curricular accomplishments at school, such as taking part in clubs or sports teams.
  • "Pay-it-forward" requirement: The recipient agrees to make a fair and measurable contribution to Shannen’s Dream or a related First Nations initiative as a condition of the award. The recipient must agree to provide the scholarship committee with details of their contribution within one year of receiving the award.
  • This is a one-time award not renewable to past recipients.
  • Financial need will be considered.

MANITOBA BEEF PRODUCERS 2025-26 SCHOLARSHIP INTAKE

DEADLINE: June 20th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: Six $1,000 awards CRITERIA:         

  •  Must be an active Manitoba beef producer or the child of an active Manitoba beef producer. Note: This can also include active beef producers returning to school after a period of time in the workforce. 
  • Must be pursuing post-secondary studies or trades training in the 2025-26 academic year. 
  • Post-secondary programs or trades training must be a minimum of one academic year in duration.

2025 ACCESS CREDIT UNION "TELL US YOUR STORY" SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

DEADLINE: April 30th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: 3 X $5,000 & 4 X $2,500 CRITERIA:         

  •  Applicants must reside in Manitoba.
  •  Applicants must currently attend high school full-time (be it public school, private school, or home school) and be eligible to graduate in June of the current year. 
  • Applicants must plan to continue their education at a recognized post-secondary institution and provide proof of enrollment or confirmation of classes by December 1st, 2025.

Order Sons & Daughters of Italy Scholarship

DEADLINE: JUNE 30th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: $2,000 x 2 and $1,000 x 1 CRITERIA:         

  • You should be enrolled and attending your first year of post secondary education (University, college or trades) or graduate studies to apply for the Legacy Awards. (proof of enrolment must be provided) 
  • Be of Italian descent,
  • Be a resident of Manitoba,
  • Between the ages of 17-30 as of June 30th in the year of your application,
  • Be a Canadian citizen, and
  • Have not previously received a Sons and Daughters of Italy award.

    Preference will be given to those applicants who can demonstrate the following: 
      • Participation in the Italian community,
      • A genuine interest in their Italian heritage,
      • Good academic standing,
      • Achievement in their field of training or cultural pursuit,
      • Co-curricular activities/achievements,
      • Community service, and/or
      • Financial need.

NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR DEAF & HARD OF HEARING STUDENTS

DEADLINE: April 25th, 2025

AWARD VALUE: $3,000 CRITERIA:         

  • Proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • At least on audiogram documenting hearing los
  • Proof of fall 2025 registration/acceptance to an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Community involvement

THE RICK & AMANDA HANSEN SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES

DEADLINE: MAY 14TH, 2025 AT 11:59 P.M. PACIFIC TIME

AWARD VALUE: Up to $10,000 per year (up to a maximum of $40,000)

CRITERIA:          To be eligible applicants must be;

  • a person with a disability, defined as a functional limitation – whether permanent or episodic – that is compounded by barriers. Attitudinal and physical barriers can prevent the student’s equitable access to meaningful participation in post-secondary education.
  • a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
  • eligible for domestic tuition at a publicly funded post-secondary institution or training program at a public university, college or institute in Canada.
  • under 30 years old as of May 14, 2025.
  • enrolling full-time in the eligible academic year for a 1- to 5-year post-secondary program.
  • enrolling in a publicly funded Canadian institution.
  • not receiving other financial awards that total more than $2,500 per year (excluding student loans and automatically awarded entrance scholarships).  
  • responsible for ensuring that any funding received from the Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship will not negatively affect the status of any benefits and subsidies that they
    are eligible for.
