Award Amount: 3 scholarships each worth $500
- One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student from Winnipeg
- One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student from outside of Winnipeg
- One $500 scholarship will be awarded to an Indigenous student
Who can apply?
- The Manitoba Young Liberal Scholarships are open to youth aged 16 to 25 who are entering, or are currently enrolled in, a Manitoba post-secondary institution
What will I have to do?
- Complete an application form
- Write an essay
- The essay should discuss the applicant’s vision for the future of Manitoba, and answer the question, “If you were elected Premier of Manitoba, what would you do?”
- Additional essay requirements: 1000 word maximum, word processed, double spaced, 12-point font (Arial or Times New Roman)
